Guy Blakeslee, best known as the front-man for LA’s finest live act THE ENTRANCE BAND backed by bassist / violinist Paz Lenchantin (Pixies, ex- A Perfect Circle, ex- Zwan) and drummer Derek James (Christopher Owens, ex- Girls), is embarking on another European tour, this time performing with a 4-piece band under his original moniker Entrance. He will be performing material from his solo record “Ophelia Slowly” (Everloving Records), as well two LPs released for the legendary label Thrill Jockey (“Book of Changes” is the last one).

Siamo in guerra da tempo. Dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale nel 1945, che con le bombe atomiche USA sganciate su Hiroshima e Nagasaki ha visto il più grande e tragico atto di terrorismo fin qui conosciuto nella storia umana, le guerre, seppur combattu- te nelle “periferie” del pianeta, principalmente in Asia e in Africa, si sono susseguite senza interruzione.
In tutti i conflitti oggi in corso l’intervento dei capitalismi occidentali e/o russo è una costante, tanto nelle forme di coinvolgimento diretto nei combattimenti e nei bombar- damenti, che seguono le operazioni coperte, di intelligence, di addestramento e di supporto logistico.
Dal 2007 il capitalismo è entrato in una crisi generale e internazionale che sta modificando gli equilibri e le gerarchie tra gli stati. La competizione economico-finanziaria, la ricerca di profitti, la lotta per il controllo delle materie prime, prospettano un teatro belli- co senza confini e senza limiti, che tende a rendere permanente la guerra, ad allargarla fino ad interessare aree sempre più vaste del pianeta.
Due terrorismi contrapposti, ma complementari, oggi si fronteggiamo a scala planetaria, quello di stato occidentale e russo, da un lato, quello del cosiddetto “islamismo radicale” (tipo Al Khaida e Isis) dall’altro. Se le popolazioni dell’Asia e dell’Africa hanno pesantemente pagato con morti e distruzioni su larga scala la “guerra infinita al terrorismo” condotta dai “nostri” eserciti, con il 2001, dopo l’attentato alle Twin Towers di New York, il terrore serpeggia anche nelle nostre metropoli.
L’Italia è in guerra a pieno titolo, fa parte del pugno di nazioni che vendono armi a paesi in guerra e che spediscono soldati per il pianeta, occultando la reale natura della parte- cipazione alle imprese belliche, definendole “missioni internazionali”, “peace keeping”, …
Il 31/12/2016 è entrata in vigore la legge quadro sulle missioni militari all’estero (145/2016) che, di fatto, cancella ogni residua considerazione sull’incostituzionalità dell’uso dell’esercito in operazioni belliche internazionali, rafforza l’autonomia del governo nel deci- dere gli interventi militari, assicura preventivamente i fondi per queste missioni.
La spesa militare italiana nel 2016 è cresciuta del 10,63%, pari all’1,11% del PIL, per un totale di 23,4 miliardi all’anno, 64 milioni di euro al giorno, quasi 8.000 militari sono impegnati in missioni all’estero.

D-Operation Drop is a project born in 2010 thanks to the encouter of 5 university students wich found themselsves sharing the same house and more importantly, love for music.
After a couple of early collaborations, almost casual, Uniradio Cesena gives to D-Operation Drop the chance to lay the foundations of an underground music program on air twice a week.
To date D-Operation Drop, after almost six years of experience, has received support from Artists like: J:Kenzo, Distance, N-Type, Icicle & many others releasing music with notable labels.
